Swimmers

In these works on paper, moments of being in in-between states serve as metaphors for loving. The swimmers sink and float, lift each other or are pulled under, face unknowns, and are ultimately united--though threatened--by their watery surroundings.

Included below are multi-run stone lithographs on handmade paper and intaglio prints.
